THOMAS P. DABERTIN JR., ASSOCIATE

Thomas is an associate with KGR’s Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group. He has experience representing debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters, handling all stages of cases from intake through discharge. In addition, Thomas has also worked with estate planning and tax law matters.

Thomas attended law school at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, he served as a tutor, assisting first-year law students with their contracts and constitutional law studies.

Prior to law school, Thomas worked as a chemist in various fields including pharmaceutical research and development as well as environmental degradation.

Aside from work, Thomas enjoys cooking, board games, socializing with friends and family, and all things fitness. He regularly challenges himself to try new athletic events. His past endeavors include martial arts tournaments, long-distance running, and weightlifting.
