Education & Employment/HR Law

Schools are staples of their communities, often as one of the most public-facing institutions in the local area. While it is easy for school leaders to focus on ensuring their students see success both in and out of the classroom, school leaders are also responsible for handling any employment issues that arise from their employees.

Tune in to KGR Education Law & Policy Attorneys Séamus Boyce & Keith Butler as they highlight key information that school leaders should be aware of when dealing with employee matters, including:

·                     Due Process and rights protections for government employees.

·                     Discrimination, harassment, and accommodations.

·                     FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, and workplace safety.

Program length: 1 hour of course content
