Melissa J. De Groff, of Counsel at KGR, has participated in the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Ask a Lawyer event for the past several years, most recently this past October 8, 2013. Indianapolis lawyers volunteer two hours of their time to give free legal advice to members of the community. This year alone, more than 600 people benefited from this program. “I have found volunteering to be very rewarding because I am presented with a specific problem or problems, and can provide an answer or a source of further assistance,” De Groff said. “The people who seek help at Ask a Lawyer are incredibly grateful to have a trained lawyer listen to them.”
