Kroger Gardis & Regas is proud to celebrate one of our paralegals for receiving a top honor. IBJ Media & The Indiana Lawyer recognized Tammy Froelich as a 2025 Legal Super Star at the annual Leadership in Law Awards Breakfast on May 29th. The prestigious event took place at The Indiana Roof Ballroom where team members gathered to support Tammy’s career accomplishment.

Tammy is a litigation paralegal for KGR’s Environmental and Construction Law Practice Groups. She brings active innovation, initiative, and involvement to her profession every day. She adds tremendous value, insight and experience to our firm, where she has worked for nearly 25 years.
Tammy oversees massive detail-oriented projects in complex litigation with accuracy and efficiency, while ensuring alignment with future initiatives. KGR relies on Tammy’s visionary approach and growing, adaptive education of trending legal technology. Tammy utilizes her impressive and consistent skill set to support KGR attorneys throughout the firm. She drafts pleadings, motions, and discovery, with special emphasis in complex construction and environmental litigation. In addition, she has extensive experience in the filing and foreclosure of Mechanic’s Liens. In fact, Tammy authored a blog on mechanic’s liens that has led to a handful of new clients for KGR. She is also the firm’s point person for e-discovery document management and review.

Legal Support Star Insight
Leading up to the breakfast ceremony, Tammy shared insight with the Leadership in Law Awards Committee on two key traits of effective paralegals and legal assistants. “First, you must be able to pivot at the last minute. You might have your day lined up with what needs to be done, but inevitably there will be an emergency and everything on that list gets put to the side. The second thing that makes a good paralegal/legal support staffer is attention to the details. You are the last person that sees work-product before it is filed. It is amazing how something as small as a comma being in the wrong place might be missed after being read through numerous times beforehand.”
