KGR Attorneys Are Top Indiana Leaders

July 19, 2024 //  by Kgrlaw

Kroger Gardis & Regas, LLP (KGR) Attorneys Brian Bosma and Eric Neuburger are honorees of the 2024 IBJ Media Indiana 250.  The third annual list includes the top influential business and community leaders across Indiana in 10 individual categories. “We believe the people on the Indiana 250 are especially worthy of distinction.  They are thinking big and driving change,” said CEO IBJ Media CEO Nate Feltman.

Brian Bosma Recognized for Leadership in Law

Brian Bosma is a three-time consecutive law honoree of IBJ Media Indiana 250. He’s landed on the influencer list since its inception in 2022.  He has dedicated his 40-year career to serving in the government and law sectors of Indiana.

Bosma, who is lives in Indianapolis, is a Partner at Kroger Garis & Regas, LLP (KGR). He’s been an integral force since he joined the firm in 1986. This is the same year he was elected to The Indiana House of Representatives. Bosma has served both roles with conviction and purpose, “KGR has given me the flexibility to not just be part of an outstanding law firm, but also the opportunity and support to fulfill my lifelong desire for public service in the General Assembly, serving for 34 years, and the opportunity to serve as the longest tenured Speaker of the House in state history. I am forever grateful to my partners and the associates of the firm to make that dream fulfilled.”

Bosma leads KGR’s Municipal Practice Group and is Senior Consultant at 1816 Public Affairs Group, LLC.
“I have represented units of local government and local government officials for more than 35 years and sincerely appreciate the opportunity to help make those local entities and officials successful.  They truly are the level of government most closely related to citizens.  I enjoy presenting creative solutions to local government problems and enjoy development and construction projects which enhance neighborhoods and local economies,” states Bosma.

In addition to his contributions to government and law, he leads a compassionate effort to support the state’s blind community. He is the founding director of Bosma Enterprises, a not-for-profit that is the largest employer of the blind and visually impaired in Indiana.  His leadership legacies will impact Indiana for years to come.

Eric Neuburger Recognized for Civic Leadership

Eric Neuburger is a proven leader in the sports and entertainment arena throughout the state.  He is a Sports and Entertainment Attorney at Kroger Gardis & Regas, LLP, (KGR) an Indianapolis law firm headquartered on Monument Circle.  In addition, his impressive advancements as Stadium Director of Lucas Oil earned him a spot in the Civic Leadership section of Indiana 250.

Neuburger has served as Stadium Director for Lucas Oil for the last seven years.  In his leading role at Indiana’s largest public venue, he’s successfully placed Indianapolis in the media and fan limelight.  Two recent huge wins include Lucas Oil hosting the 2024 U.S. Swimming Trials and booking Taylor Swift for three sold-out shows this November. He helped stage the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship. He also played a pivotal part in bringing other huge sporting events to Lucas Oil like the NCAA Big Ten Championship Football Games, the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend, and numerous NCAA Men’s Final Fours.

“Sports has been a common thread throughout my personal and professional life. It is a subject area that interests me and allows me to make an impact with people and organizations I care about,” said Neuburger.

Neuburger’s passion for “all-things sports” carries over to his law practice at KGR. “My role with KGR allows me to help people and organizations on issues related to sport. Whether it’s assisting leagues and federations with business needs, or individuals navigating a sport adjudicative process, I have the opportunity to help these clients make a difference in Indiana and beyond.”

Neuburger, who lives in Fishers, IN, will travel to Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympics in a few weeks.  This trip marks his eighth time attending the Olympics as a volunteer or spectator.  He is a dedicated sports enthusiast and accomplished advocate, for sure!

The Selection Process

The 2024 list was determined based on nominations from IBJ Media readers, suggestions from state leaders and those who’ve been on the list before, and suggestions from IBJ Media newsrooms. The 250 influencers are divided into 10 categories: Civil Leadership; Energy & Agriculture; Financial & Business Services; Health Care & Life Sciences; Hospitality, Entertainment & Arts; Law; Manufacturing, Logistics & Transportation; Not-For-Profit & Education; Real Estate, Retail & Construction; and Technology & Media.
