Bill Bock, a partner with Kroger, Gardis & Regas, LLP, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and General Counsel for the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) will be part of USADA’s delegation to the World Conference in Doping in Sport in Johannesburg, South Africa, on November 12-15, 2013. Amendments to the World Anti-Doping Code will be considered and voted upon at the Conference.
Mr. Bock is responsible for investigations and arbitration cases involving USADA and athletes who may have used performance enhancing drugs. He regularly handles sport eligibility matters before the American Arbitration Association and the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Bock is a frequent speaker on sports law, sports ethics and sports drug testing matters. His work has been highlighted in the New York Times Best Selling books, Wheelmen: Lance Armstrong, the Tour de France, and the Greatest Sports Conspiracy Ever by Wall Street Journal reporters Reed Albergotti and Vanessa O’Connell , and Game of Shadows: Barry Bonds, BALCO, and the Steroids Scandal that Rocked Professional Sports written by Mark Fainaru-Wada and Lance Williams. For his work on the Armstrong case Bock was named a 2012 Lawyer of the Year by Law Week Colorado and a 2013 Distinguished Barrister by Indiana Lawyer.
