KGR included in 2024 Edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers ‘Best Law Firms’

Kroger Gardis & Regas is thrilled to be included in the list of “Best Law Firms” by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers® 2024 Edition.

The report recognizes the most elite firms across the nation, identified for their professional excellence with consistently positive feedback from clients and peers. To become eligible for a “Best Law Firms” ranking, at least one lawyer at the firm must be recognized in the latest edition of The Best Lawyers in America®, an exclusive award presented to only the top 5 percent of lawyers in the United States.

Our firm also received 12 regional-based tier designations, which “reflect the high level of respect a firm can earn among other leading lawyers and clients from the same communities and practice areas.”

The Best Law Firms methodology explained: Through a rigorous evaluation process, firms are compared to other firms within the same metropolitan area and practice areas. Because firms are often separated by small or insignificant differences in overall score, a tier system is used rather than ranking law firms sequentially.

The first tier in each metropolitan area includes those firms that score within a certain percentage of the highest-scoring firms; the second tier are those firms that score within a certain percentage of the next highest scoring firms, and so on.

Receiving a tier designation reflects the high level of respect a firm has earned among other leading lawyers and clients in the same communities and the same practice areas for its abilities, professionalism, and integrity.

To produce the 14th edition, the Best Lawyers research team analyzed client responses, 13.7 million evaluations of more than 125,000 lawyers from more than 23,000 firms and conducted hundreds of interviews with law firm leaders. This process resulted in 2,202 firms earning a national recognition, and 16,324 firms earning a metropolitan recognition.
